We welcome your interest in the Northern Costa Blanca, where we offer a wide range of new and resale properties of all kinds, from individual villas with private pools, to linked villas and apartments sharing a community pool. This part of the Costa Blanca is an exclusive region, still growing residentially, and attracting Spanish, British and other Europeans. In addition to the area's mild climate, described by the World Health Organisation as the "healthiest climate in Europe", this region offers striking seascapes and mountainous settings, sandy beaches and rocky bays, lively resorts and peaceful villages. This area lies between the Spanish coastal cities of Alicante and Valencia, both served by international airports, and covers a number of attractive towns.

Denia is a large coastal town with a lively atmosphere. Behind the seafront promenade and marina sits a historic centre with castle as well as a bustling shopping and commercial area, while miles of flat sandy beaches stretch away to the north. More than just a resort, Denia is still a working town with a large local population, which added to the variety of other nationalities living or holidaying there, give it a cosmopolitan feel.

Javea, a little further south, has been described as the "jewel in the crown" of the Northern Costa Blanca. Sitting between the imposing headland of San Antonio and the wild, rocky promontory of Cabo de la Nao, the town of Javea divides into three distinct areas. Javea Arenal offers a mile of sandy beach, with a promenade, and lined with restaurants, cafes and shops. A little further along the coast is the port of Javea, with its marina, smart seafront boulevard and narrow streets behind, while the old town, slightly inland, retains the charm of the original town, with its old church and market, and narrow, cobbled streets.

Moraira, not undiscovered but certainly unspoilt, is a smaller, very attractive town, with a sandy beach, a fine choice of restaurants and many cafes and bars along its paved seafront by the marina and its open squares. With its careful, low-rise development and attention to public spaces, Moraira is fast becoming a sought after location, both for short breaks and for all year round living.

Altea is a historic and cultural town a little further south. The old town, on the hillside, has panoramic sea views across the bay of Altea, from the Penon d'Ifach to the north to the Sierra Helada to the south. The old town is dominated by its blue-domed church, from which cobbled streets lined with restaurants, cafes and a variety of craft shops and artists studios stretch. Below, a long promenade, with cafes and restaurants, runs alongside a sandy beach to the town marina.

For those who like the peace and quiet of the countryside, without being too far out, the Jalon Valley area is ideal. This area is largely agricultural, with vineyards, almond and orange groves. A number of towns and villages are scattered across the area. Some, such as Jalon and Orba, are fairly sizeable towns offering all facilities, while others, such as Alcalali, Benichembla and others, are villages, though still with a general store, bakers, pharmacy, providing what is necessary for day to day life. Despite the feeling of being out in the country, most of these towns and villages are no more than 20 to 30 minutes drive from the coastal towns, and are served by well-surfaced roads.

Many Britons live in this area, and many more holiday by its magnificent beaches or come to enjoy winter sun - while benefiting from high value villas and apartments. The region is still developing, and increasingly strict controls on development, coupled with the outstanding natural beauty and the gentle climate, mean that the Northern Costa Blanca is a discerning choice for anyone wishing to invest in a property in Spain.

New residential developments continue to be available. Property is commonly bought "off-plan" for occupation up to two years later. Property appreciation suggests good returns currently, and confirmation of value is the high number of Spanish purchasing "off-plan" at a very early stage in new developments. Resale property opportunities are also available through MMI, and these represent the opportunity for someone wishing to occupy their home in the sun immediately. Viewing resale properties may also help purchasers put the value of new developments in perspective.
